We make it easy! We'll Pop-Up at your school to share a little or a lot about Design Thinking. Choose a 1-day, 2-day or week long deep dive. Choose to have teachers or students go through the Design Thinking Process with us.
The benefits of us "pop-ing" in to your school:

Small PopIn this half-day camp, participants will learn the ins and outs of design thinking. We will blend common core skills with 21st century competencies through a design challenge that could easily be replicated in the classroom the next school day. A debrief after the challenge will develop the "why" and "how" of design thinking in the classroom.
1/2 day (3 hours total)

Pop+Our two-day Pop+ camp will go much deeper into Design Thinking in the classroom. Day one will start with an introduction to the process and then move into a STEM focused challenge. Literacy and Humanities will be highlighted in the first half of day two with time to create your own challenges in the afternoon.

Classroom PopWatch us work through a 90 minute challenge with a classroom of students while you and other teachers watch. This unique perspective allows educators to experience the Design Thinking Process from a student's point of view while observing the organization and teacher moves that we incorporate. After the challenge we will meet with teachers to facilitate a reflection session and set the stage for next steps.
3 hours (90 min with students, 90 min with teachers)

Deep DiveDuring this week-long transformative experience, teachers will chose something to "hack" or redesign within their classroom or teaching practice. As we move through the Design Thinking Process each day, teachers will gain empathy and get feedback on their designs from the real users- students. By the end of the week teachers will be ready to try their hack with the rest of their class. This camp is ideal for summer PD.
